A cada cerdo le llega su San Martín… Es poco ortodoxo el uso del bate de béisbol en la elaboración de chorizos, pero por lo visto así se hacía en un sótano de Cleveland durante años…

The use of a baseball bat in the making of chorizos in not exactly kosher, but apparently that is how it was done for years in the basement of this Spanish home in Cleveland… Laura Goyanes writes: “Left to right Carmen Goyanes my grandmother, Aurora Martinez sister in law, Aurora Gonzalez daughter of Carmen and Leo Goyanes nephew. This was probably taken in the early 60’s. They always made chorizos in the basement and they were then dried in the garage.
