#12: Michael Muñoz

“Well, I come from a culture of people that stand up for themselves. I was always encouraged to do that as a child. I was never allowed to back out of a fight. I was supposed to stand up for myself and my sisters and brothers. So it was natural for me to become part of the labor movement, the trade union movement. When I became a union organizer it was those same things that I could use to make people understand the trade union movement and labor unions, and sticking together.”
